13 Sites, 65 Users. How do you keep it operational?
Warrigal Care provides a full range of aged care services to residents living in facilities between Gladesville and Queanbeyan.
Across this region there are 13 sites with some 65 IT users whose application requirements range from Word Processing and E-mail through to Resident Management and Financial Management. Ensuring the IT facilities are optimal and available is a challenge.
Microsolve was selected to provide an outsourced IT support and management solution in August 2004. The services to be supplied to all sites include desktop, network, server and helpdesk services, as well as disaster recovery, Internet security and secure remote access.
These services are delivered using a mix of remote, "over-the-shoulder" and onsite techniques by Microsolve's team of certified support analysts.
The net effect has been a dramatic and noticeable improvement in the availability and functionality of the IT infrastructure without an increase in overall IT expenditure.
"Network availability is consistently high."
"Microsolve is actively working with us to complete a strategy of upgrading to enterprise-grade systems and consolidating our server and client infrastructure."
- Wayne Temby, Commercial Services Manager
